YOUTH MINISTRIES (aka UMYF, Youth Group, the place to be, etc.) GROW IN YOUR FAITH … We’ve got lots of opportunities to dig into God’s Word, apply it to your life, ask questions, have lively discussions, and grow in relationship with Jesus Christ and with others. Places we do that include: Youth Group on Sunday Nights … Sunday School … Winter Retreat in February … Youth Alive for Sr. High … Spirit Quest for Middle School … Summer Camps at CONNECT WITH OTHERS … Everybody like to make new friends and have a good time, so we also do lots of high impact, totally fun events like: Cosmic Bowling … Broomball … Raging Waters … Hallelujah Jubilee @ Magic Mountain … Christian Concerts … Dances … Pool Parties & Beach Days … Christmas Caroling … Outdoor “Living Nativity” @ Christmas … Hikes … Youth Day @ Annual Conference … and MORE! MAKE A DIFFERENCE … The Great Commandment tells us to love God and love people [read Matthew 22: 34-40]. Just one believer can make a difference, so you don’t have to wait on the world to change (like the John Mayer song suggests). You can start right now! There are LOTS of ways to be in mission, ministry, and service to others. CHECK THINGS OUT, AND GET INVOLVED … United Methodist Youth Fellowship - Sunday Nights, year round SUMMER HOURS … 6 - 8 pm (late June thru August) Dinner @ 6 pm ($2.50) ~ Games & Recreation @ 6:30 pm ~ Program 7 - 8 pm REGULAR HOURS … 6 - 7:30 pm (during school-year) Dinner @ 6 pm ($2.50) ~ Games, Activities, & Program 6:30 - 7:30 pm Sunday School - Third Sunday of the month during the 9 am Worship Service (during the school year) Middle School Room 12 & Sr. High Rm. 8/9 we will be studying the Story along with the congregation |
