Would  you like to help with our children's and youth Sunday School program in 2012?

We are developing teams of at least 3 teachers for each grade level.  Those called to teaching ministries enable our church to form disciples of our youngest members.

Contact Chris Closser or Diane Thomas for more information.

The Last Katrina Work Team will be May 6-11, 2012 in Gulfport, Mississippi.  The Santa Barbara District and the Santa Ana District plan to send 15 people each, making a total of 30 workers.  Work will be done on houses that still need repair from hurricane damage.

If you are interested in serving, please contact Martina McRae or the church office.

A mission team from our church is going to Mongolia to build a children's playground for a Methodist missionary serving in the capital city of Ulaanbaatar.

The dates are July 6-20, 2012

Financial support is needed for the building supplies.  You can make your donations payable to:
Simi Valley United Methodist Women,
and write Mongolia Mission on the memo line.

For more details, contact Ed or Martina McRae or Rob or Bonnie Bastian.

We need your help!
We are looking for individuals or groups who would like to prepare a "simple" meal for our Lenten Dinner Series on Tuesday Evenings. The meals will be served starting at 6:15 p.m.  If you would like to get a group together to make sandwiches, soup or any other simple meal, please contact the church office at 526-6231.

Recycle Sunday

The youth want to help save the planet and raise some money at the same time.  You can help by donating your CLEAN and EMPTY cans, bottles and plastic.  Drop your items off before or after church on the 4th Sunday of each month.  Funds raised will be split with 50% going to the church and 50% to the Youth Group.
