Christian Religious Education Preparing God's People to do God's work in the world today. Our faith is a living thing that needs nourishment through worship, prayer and learning. We offer opportunities to learn and strengthen the faith of all ages - babies to senior adults - because we know that faith is a journey, not a destination. We're always traveling, moving forward, gaining speed and strength to live our Christian faith everyday. Christian education is an important component of the Simi Valley United Methodist Church's ministry to our members, visitors, and community. We provide a number of opportunities for Christian growth and fellowship on Sunday morning and during the week. We invite you to take advantage of the ones that meet your particular needs.
FOR INFORMATION ON OUR SUNDAY SCHOOL PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN SEE BELOW. YOUTH: Check out Youth Sunday School. ADULTS: Check out Bible Studies (midweek studies for adults) and Sunday Morning Learning Opportunities for Adults. Children's Sunday School Infants to Grade 6 9:00 a.m. Sunday School is an opportunity for children to come to know and understand the Bible and Jesus through new and interesting ways. We begin our time together at 9:00 a.m. with singing and gathering time in the Chapel. The Children are then escorted by the teachers to their classrooms around 9:20 a.m. Children have the option to attend the first 15 minutes of worship, and then joining the other children in the Chapel. CLASS ROOM ASSIGNMENTS
Parents should come to the classrooms to pick up their children following worship. At the 10:30 a.m. worship time we offer childcare for infants-age 3 in the Nursery. Ages 4-10 may attend the Children's story in worship then come to Room 4 for Bible lesson and activities. Join us this Sunday and build a strong faith!
