YOU ARE NOT ALONE! 

We are here to listen, to provide information and to help in any way we can.  This group, for cancer patients, cancer survivors, families and caregivers, meets at various times throughout the year.  The next meeting will be a luncheon on May 8, 2012, location to be announced.  All cancer survivors are welcome to join our fellowship and we also ask that you have your friends join us.

Stephen Ministry

For those in need of a listening friend, we have Stephen Ministry.  One on one with your Stephen Minister, you have someone to listen and assist you with the changes in your life - a birth, a death, a job change, marital difficulties.  Not counselors, they are trained to listen and support you with God's love. 

Prayer Chain

We have two chains - a traditional phone chain and an e-mail chain.  Both chains involve a network of individuals who receive prayer requests and thanksgivings and will pray for each request.  Please contact the church office with your prayer concerns.

Bereavement Committee

Serving the needs of those suffering the loss of a loved one, the Bereavement Committee organizes and serves receptions following memorial services or funerals. 

 

  Soaring Spirits Loss Foundation is committed to providing compassionate community support to anyone grieving the loss of a loved one.  Through the creation and implementation of universal programs dedicated to the ideals of hope and healing, the Soaring Spirits Loss Foundation endeavors to address the emotional and physical needs to they people they serve.
